    The dealer is supposed to fit them - get them to order you some free of charge. Its a common problem - check you have a front splitter too.

    Do you mean the imobiliser code? If so, I believe the R-Sport ECU comes with a blank number, and once you use it for the first time, the key number gets written to the ECU and they are syncronised from this point onwards.

    Really though a 172 with a turbo will be virtually undrivable in my opinion. Look at the Focus RS - Boost is limited in first and second gears because its FWD. Theres only so much torque you can put through it. I know that there are a few 16v turbos about - whats the traction like in them?

    My dealer got their first 2 in May 2000 on a W plate. I was there to order a 1.2 MTV edition - I was loving the 172 (in that sexy silver colour). They started it up and I couldnt help but :D.
