The information I gave was obtained from EVO issue 42 under the letters section. A month previous, a guy has written in, banging on about how his braking technique was so good that he could stop a car quicker than an ABS-equipped equivelant.
An ABS engineer who works for Bosch Braking Systems...
There is no way in the world you could stop quicker without ABS!
One of the criteria the ABS system has to meet is that it can be stopped quicker than the non-ABS version. ABS can control each wheel induvidually. You can only control all four at once.
Try doing it with the car reving higher. The alternator should be making more juice, so it shouldnt happen then.
The lights dim on mine, but I have never noticed the battery LED!
This isnt true - because firsty any ECU updates would only update firmware, which would not alter either the fuel or ignition maps as they are programmed into a ROM device, and secondly, becuase my car still revs to ~8,000rpm.
The best part is when the floor falls out of the passenger footwell, yet he is able to carry a passenger just a few minutes later with no problems whatsoever!
With the new amp youll receive a plug which plugs directly into the amplifier high-level input slot. The other end will have a few wires coming off it which you connect to your speaker wires by either soldering or by crushing a terminal on each and connecting that way.
Hope this answers your...
Well I drove one the other day.
The CTR is way ahead on build quality - it really feels solid. However, the Cup is twice as fun to drive - I didnt think the CTR had the same punch as the Cup, but having said that, it probably would do if it had an aftermarket ECU as mine does.
Also check in the fuse box that the head unit fuse hasnt blown.
In my old clio the head unit still worked, but the remote cable did not when this fuse blew!
Hi guys and girls,
I have a slow punchure in one of my ContiSports, but the tread is starting to wear a little anyway so dont mind replacing them all.
I think that Goodyear Eagle F1s might be a good choice based on a few independant tyre tests, but have any of you got any good experiences...
WITH REGARDS TO BENR:
What you seem to have overlooked is that BenR makes vital contributions to this forum. He has helped many members (including myself) with a great deal of technical information. He is very knowledgable and is an asset to this forum in my opinion.
If you want an instant boost in speaker volume, but the ones that have the greatest sensitivity.
I doubt you would hear much difference by fitting higher powered speakers.
You shouldnt actually need to use the original wire in the doors, since the amp will (or should) be using RCA input from the head unit, and then the speaker wire will come from the boot, towards the front of the car. You could then just run this into the doors.
Here is a diagram that I made to help you a little. Its very primitive (MS Word), but should help you to understand your problem a little better.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more info.

Never been in an R34 with standard suspension and big power then have you Ben. :D
That chassis is VERY good. If they had left the chassis standard, it would have been put in a ditch pretty soon after it left the pit lane I think. The standard chassis setup is good, but no way good enough to...
Mines have always kept things real.
You look at other companies, and you see that they have not looked at what is required of themselves as a tuning house. They use Turbos that require a far greater exhaust flow than the car actually has, and then fit really wild cams for example. This is all...
Yes I have.
There is a bit of insulation, and the inside of the door pannel. I have never seen any water in there, and there is no hint of rust. The aftermarket speakers have been in there for a good 8 months now.
