Nice pics. Would you rate the RX-7 over a WRX STi? or are you just comparing it to a normal turbo? The re-build part worries me, the rotor tips wear out dont they? Its quite costly no?

Mine does it - unfortunately from experience on other cars it probably means a new motor to fix it. Im not that concerned, id rather replace the motors and get wind ups anyway, but i probably wont say that in summer.

It certainly has the power to weight ratio to do a 5sec 60, but i think there would be too much trouble getting the power down - possibly on hot slicks and good asphalt. Big wheels would probably be necessary for the brakes as much as anything.

17s can cause you other problems if they are not really light. personally im getting 16s. i think 17s look better, but like i said, sometimes they have ill effects.
