I cant decide whether to go or not, its quite a long way from walden isnt it?
Carefull with the plates - There just too easy to get pulled for, and they might make the difference for a policeman that was gonna let you off with a warning.
Im only talking about 5yrs old, the bikes were worth about the same, and it was with the same company. The 125s (aprilia and cagiva, brand new) were way more expensive than a 5 yr old cbr6, i couldnt understand it.
I keep toying with the idea of getting a bike every time the weather gets good...

A little more pricey.
Nice pics. Would you rate the RX-7 over a WRX STi? or are you just comparing it to a normal turbo?
The re-build part worries me, the rotor tips wear out dont they? Its quite costly no?
I take it that style of rear wing is not in favor then? I was in the back of my mind considering one, but im not sure if it would look crap, its a fairly expensive bit of junk if i dont like it and have to take it off again.
I like that - its ready by the way, picking it up tomorrow.
like youre not excited. got the day off? or do you have to wait for the weekend to go for a 300mile detour to tesco?
BTW - do you need to run it in?
I was thinking of going for no cat when my exhaust eventually goes, butill get the whole system replaced and go for a custom chip too (start saving now steve).
The chip should cure any bag of sh*t problems
Mine does it - unfortunately from experience on other cars it probably means a new motor to fix it.
Im not that concerned, id rather replace the motors and get wind ups anyway, but i probably wont say that in summer.
Does hammerite not have a problem with heat? do you not need special lacquer? this all sounds a bit easy to me - i might have to get myself down homebase at the weekend.
It certainly has the power to weight ratio to do a 5sec 60, but i think there would be too much trouble getting the power down - possibly on hot slicks and good asphalt.
Big wheels would probably be necessary for the brakes as much as anything.
Ive even started double de-clutching to try and make it a bit smoother, but im not that great at it - in my mums golf i can change up and down without using the clutch now, but i still get jerked about in the clio.
More challenging - i guess thats how i like it. I have to concentrate on the...
WOW nice looking block nick - cant wait to see you let rip down the autobahn.
On the subject of skirts and difussers and so on, imo the flow should be kept as neat and attached as possible (that just seems to make more sense to me as you are trying to gain relative vacuum from fast moving...
Another one came within a split second of being an ex pheasant yesterday, the exact same situation, except it was a two lane slip road and i was coming past a truck, it somehow managed to miss me and the truck by millimetres, i thought id run over it at first, but when there was no thud i...
Id never really thought about it like that before nick (my reckoning is that its half the engine capacity every rev) Thats a lot of air!
By my calcs, an f1 car at full revs would be pulling in nearly 500 litres of air a second!
Sorry, read it carefully. I was having problems with ignition and it was only running on three cylinders i.e not much power. I changed to ngks and magnicore and it restored the original power. i was trying to be funny, i guess it didnt work.
The car did feel more responsive though, but that...
I like the way the back of the car was really squatting down, just from the torque. factor in the gs youll get when youre moving and the back is gonna be scraping the ground. better get some rally spec bump stops nick.
and possibly a neck brace.
17s can cause you other problems if they are not really light. personally im getting 16s.
i think 17s look better, but like i said, sometimes they have ill effects.
ive got ngk platimums in mine with 8.5mm magnicore leads and they definetely gave me a big power increase (but it was running on three cylinders before)
