Dont want to be a touch more constructive and say where we can get decent hosing from do you? Besides, it was just bought from Halfords, its made by Green airfilter company and its not bad stuff for a cold air feed, its just not great attached to the throttle body.

Got that stuff from H*lfords, but its not ideal. I had to cover it in heat resistant tape to stop it getting shredded in the engine bay. If you locate some decent hosing (I need 70mm), let me know as I want some...

Looking at 60mph in around 9 seconds as standard for an RSi. The Hillpower Stage 1 kit (IK, decat, chip) will take it to about 8.5 to 60. So yes, like VTR to VTS.

I think the manual says 625 miles at no more than 3.5k revs. As long as you follow that Im sure youll be just fine (and so will the engine!)

MK1s have a cable controlled throttle, and MK2s are fly by wire throttle, so I suppose there is a fairly major difference. I assume the ECU controls this?? Just tried calling the number I found for RSport, but it just keeps ringing, no answer....02085407366 Anyone got a number where I can...

The RSport chip is just a GrpN ECU with no other alterations? Thats cant be right can it? If it is true, Id be tempted to go to Nick Hill to get one fitted given the wonders it has worked on the 172 Cups.

You were meant to spray it inside the filter before fitting it!!! The foam wont do much filtering of small particles without the oil to catch the particles in.

Mine rattle and buzzes like you wouldnt beleive. Since putting on the decat, there seems to be more resonance in the car, which has loosened a few more bits of trim. Nice.
