how did you clean up the inlet manifold? simple de-greaser, dont know why im asking because the engine has been taken to the bloke for fitting so i cant do anything about it now, i couldnt get the tensioners from andyspares (GSF) got them from euro in the end

good work son, wish i had the space to undertake such conversions, where did you source the tensioners from? im having trouble finding them, even 16v ones, of course i wont got to renault.

i have got a slightly damaged 16v front bumper? its a bit cracked but i have been using it for a year and a half no problems £35 if you can collect, it in sports blue by the way

right, 16vs/williams run off one large TB, base injected models run off small ones, how about (if you could form the manifolds) running four or a pair off TBs off a a base model car, the TBs could be cheaply sourced it would just be tricky getting the manifolds made but im sure somthing...

R19 valver boxs go in, i was under the umpression that they are basicaly the same as the clio 16v box but with a longer ratio in 5th or somthing, Ben (Red16) is using on too good effect, but P1 and P2 boxs definitly vary between R19 16s anyway so the same isnt alsways true, i got a willy box...

i paid £300 for the engine box and all ancilleries from a willy 3 in the exact same situation, the bloke paid £400 for the whole car, then just dropped the sub frame and cut the loom and rad hoses, left it in the garden for a few months after deciding he couldnt fit it into his £19, the sad...

i wa told you have got to remove the drive shafts to get it out the top, and in all the time mine has come out its been through the bottom by dropping the sub-frame

thanks Joe, just what i wanted to hear! they dont come much later than that and i dont think they come much cheaper either! Engine conversion is coming on well, i had the modification decision taken for me when i founf that the bolt and captive nut securing the chassis leg and sub frame...

i have found a couple of circular yellow stickers with a date on the rear of the block and on the gearbox casing on my williams lump, they are dated mid 95, which im hoping means it was assembled then and must be from an M or N reg :):):):):) if otherwise then it would still like to know...
