whilst the engine is out how difficult is it too take the ECU out? i need to take mine out so that i can get the hill power chip done,
a few of you must have done this already,
any advice?
Tints look very sad and rude, the sooner you learn this the better, you wont be able to sell the car, and you will get pulled every five minutes, where is the benefit?
looks good mate
i like very much the rocker cover, where did you get the badge from? and does it stand the heat? it is exactly what i was planning to do with the top of my williams engine, the inlet manifold i was thinking was thinking of doing too, probably alloy wheels paint silver to match...
the rocker cover is very easy to take off, the trox head screws that hold it down should be very easy to take out, and done back up screw driver tight, mine is off right now and im sure the rocker cover is the item to blame, also take note of the rubber rings round the plastic insert, the only...
my mates suzuki swift has proper race spec engine mounts and they are fantastic, the whole car vibrates with the enginem and reverberates at certain speeds, the only problems is everything rattles its self to bits, all the interior screws slowly un-do themselves, if i could find some i will egt them

mine have been out forages, the only problem i had was my horns got filled with mud ard rubbish, but this might be because i put them back on facing the wrong way, generaly its not problem (so far)

clios are nasty to work on, but 19s, especialy the early ones are even worse, they are cheap but will cost alot for to run then the equivilant ford vauxhall if like me you do a fair bit yourself, but these renaults are so difficult to work on that you end up paying someone to do comparitivly...
i thought you made money on everything thats done under warranty? the work is paid for by Renualt, so doing all that for a hot start problem would be a nice earner? or am i wrong?

Nick im getting mine fromma clutch specialist that is used by the trade, the brand of the clutch is LUK, im sure the same product from renault would be over £100, do you mind me askign what you paid for yours?
where did you get your uprated clutch from? and how much was it?
gearbox mounts were incorperated i thought with the engine mounts?
the starter and alternator will stay though, they are pricey and still work, and not impossible to do with the engine in the car, im trying to do what i can now...
thats not a bad price for a remus, its a quality product, but one thing i would say is dont expect it to be much louder, Remus are designed to be subtle, so there will proably not be a huge differnce in noise, just a deep rumble, any more than that is tacky IMO,
if i had the money i would have...
