both my foglights are smashed, is it just the glass that needs replacing or whole unit? if its just the glass do i still have to pull out the whole unit to change? how are they connected? best place to get them eg gsf? anybody tried 'invisible sheild' (have it on my nano) or similar to protect...
i had the k-tec twin, boomy on the motorway and i could never get it to sit straight, had to hold it with cable ties, had to wedge a peice of rubber in there too as it started to rattle against the mountings. i have a Prospeed now, all sorted.
brembro discs, performance friction 97 pads & braided hoses (with super dot 4 i think), went for a burn earlier then i had to drive the missus fiesta she has new pads but i still nearly rear ended somebody cos i it was like standing on a wet sponge compared to mine, they squeak but for the...
tarox fast road pads, standard discs & braided hoses, ^drilled discs are a waste of money. how fast is your valver and what you use it for are big factors on how much to spend. i have the yozzasport kit, awsome stoppage.
BBT & K-TEC do turbos £6-7k ish, altho i believe BBT are working on a smaller turbo conversion for the RS, AWT, Hillpower & Yozzasport do TB's £4kish pending on power required.
like to hear some of the blue beast, bonnet open like roamers rr session but without the music? as this is a possible next year unless any other tuning options are available by then.
i think the gains will be minimal but it is a good place to start, getting buckets and binning the spare on your full fat is also a good way to go to benefit those mods, my full fat is standard as i like my creature comforts and in these days of jealous vandals, attention from the law and the...
not yet ordered the extra ariel but i spoke to blackspot and they reckon you will get a signal if it is mounted behind your rearview mirror, but the parcel shelf looks tidiest, as long as it works eh
..check out the Rota slipstreams (rarerims.co.uk) as they have larger spokes if that is what you are looking for, also 15's & 16's look better when your car has some decent suspension. as for Caterhams they are a totally different car.
..sure the mk1 & other countries have 15's, cup racers...15's. unsprung weight & wheel size factor in how the car handles, but unless your car is stripped eg GaryG most wouldnt notice the "unsprung weight" difference. i found with 17's superleggs that the ride was harsh (205/40/17) &...
..if its for the RS stick with 16x7 rather than opt for 17x7, its designed to use 16's. some say they dont notice the difference...they must be lacking in observation. drive an RS with 17's for a while then put the 16's back on, you will see my point.
..im sure its a decent oil, but its down to personal preference, usage of the car, there are better oils out there, you can take your own oil to the dealer, as edde recomends..silkolene pro-s 5w40
..just about all the way down i think at the back, altho i have yet to play with the KW's, Andy has set them up nice, (really tested them las night on some tight bends), gone for ET45 (after much thought about ppl with 182 cup alloys on their full fats and its not far off standard offset), gona...
