Bang on ET37 is ideal, or ET36 would be fine as well, but Ive never seen this fitment. Dont go ET38+ on 7"+ wide wheels unless you fancy taking out the inner arch liners like I had to! And dont go below ET35 or itll rub on the outside arch.
Dont think so, his reggie plate is V?WAN. You mighta seen it about Glasgow when he used to stay here, as he was always cruising about town at night. Hes now at uni in Aberdeen so hes only in glasgow during the holidays.
My mates got a modded Micra! He was unlucky enough to get a brand new 1.0 Celebration for his 17th birthday, so he had to make the most of it! 3 years later and hes lowered 60mm on 16" Milia Evos (look bloody huge on the tin can Micra!), got a Janspeed exhaust (complete with custom holes in to...
tiger, in response to your post last time asking this question, I said if you check the total current draw (add together the fuse ratings from your two amps) I would tell you for definite what gauge of wiring you would need! The offer still stands! :)
Cheers guys, thats the most useful advice Ive had so far. Youve backed u what I was currently swaying towards anyway (K&N) - (although the 1st couple of posts were starting to make me rethink it!!)
Yes, Ive still not been able to make a decision about an induction kit, despite that Ive been wanting one for about six months, for the simple reason that no one seems to be able to tell me which ones are good/bad! I have kept changing my mind between K&N 57i, Piper-X (normal foam one), and...
Hi Russ,
Can I bag one each of the 4 and 8 gauge wiring kits please? And, why not, for 45p each a couple of rolls of black insulation tape (might as well splash out!) :D
If only you were selling those Audiobahns in 3 weeks time when I get paid...
Anyways, how do I purchase the above?
Ta.
But if they can get in the front doors, they can fold the back seats down and access your ICE from there. Best method is to make sure they dont know what ICE you have. Choose the stealthiest option for all ICE: face off CD unit, black out the windows, etc. Fit alarm and security film. Have no...
You should collect these videos together and then when youve got enough release them as a DVD series of Water Sperms... then eventually, a few years down the line, you can have a special compilation of all the best moments from Water Sperms Series 1-3...
It doesnt apply to dealers as far as Im aware, only to aftermarket plate makers. Basically, anyone who makes up/sells after market reg plates now by law has to put some kind of identification mark and their VAT reg. no on the plate, so that any illegal plates (dodgy fonts, spacing, cloned...
I agree. All stickers came off my car the day I collected it. See no reason why when spending £9grand+ on a brand new car you should give the dealer free advertising too. Contemplated changing the reggie plates as well cos theyve got the logo, but decided I could put up with this as Id have to...
You can get any Sony headunit with a remote interface, and then just buy an Autoleads adapter (think its part no. PC-11 or something... not sure, that might be way out!) which will allow you to use the steering remote and dash display.

Lockwood dials, available various colours (inc. white), and in every possible style of dial for any model Mk2. Only thing is theyre...
What you need to do is get a wire coathanger, cut two lengths of about 4-5" off it with pliers, bend each one round into a u-shape, then use these as "handles", insert them into the two holes at each side of the head unit, and pull towards you while squeezing them to make sure they grip inside...
Not to worry. A pair of Philips Silvervision, Osram Diadem or Silvertec bulbs will do the trick. These look silver, so wont spoil the look of your lights, but flash orange so theyre legal. Get them from Demon Tweeks or http://www.powerbulbs.comhttp://www.powerbulbs.com
Yep, the rubbing happened with mine as well, but only on bumps with at least one extra passenger. Its only if the offsets 38+ (mine is ETA38). 37 or less and it misses the inner arch. Its easy to sort though, I just took out the arch liner and voila, problem solved. Last night I had a full car...
Well, Im lowered 40mm on 17"s, with the standard shocks, and the ride heght is still visibly lower than standard Clios. If Im parked next to one, the roof is obviously a few cm lower, and the mirrors, when parked close side-by-side, are again much lower. There is no room between the wheels and...
Well, Adam, if you want me to sort you out with a firm (and discounted!) quote even though youre 19, pm me your number and Ill give you a call from work tomorrow. If you need your dad to set it up cos its in his name, thats not a problem.
I work for esure/Sainsburys/Halifax. Halifaxd normally need drivers to be 20, but I can probably sort something out for you even though youre 19, if youre interested?? Sainsburys wont touch students, but theres no minimum age. esure needs 4 years NCD and has a minimum age of 21 for males.
It all depends on the efficiency of the gear Tiger. What is the current draw (fuse rating) on the amp, and what gauge is the wiring (should be printed on the cable itself as "xAWG", eg. 8AWG, 10AWG etc.)?
If you tell me these two then Ill tell you if its safe.
