As dan says... needs to be plugged into "clip" (renault official software) no other way around it. (beside changing box again)

Used to have the airbag lights come and go(just wiggle the wires) So I chopped the original connectors off and used some connector blocks(wire in either side and screw in) Lately though the lights have been coming on again :( I looked at the block connectors and the wires look fine :/ So...

Didn't get a chance to do much today :( Changed the accelerator linkage from left pull to right, Fitted the throttle bodies to the engine with a new ptfe inlet gasket. Plan tomorrow is maybe fit the power steering and alternator and try and fix the wiring loom :-)

I got the Manifold last night :D Also bought a pipercross airfilter holder(no air filter yet...) off the fella. He is drilling the holes for the trumpets this week Gonna try and fit the engine this week or next week. Must just change the starter from 172 to willy. Also must wire in...

Dear god man, Throw up pics of that R8 conversion!! :D 172 engine and gearbox both fit into the mk1, along with driveshafts,bigger brakes,arb + way more use 172 rear brake calipers also... Wy better then mk1 ones!!

The "dedent" will be worn :( (rod for holding it into gear) Had it before on a Williams gearbox!

Easiest way in my head.... valver/willy hubs... 406 brembo's(no need for brackets with valver/willy hubs) 15mm hub spacers. 280mm discs(172/182 ones) if you get the 182 hubs with 197 brembos there 300mm discs(need 16" discs)

There's no speedo hole in the jc5-130 gearboxes!

Got my manifold back from pepper, It was warped again:S Also it had NO brake servo ports!!! (so the brakes wouldn't work......) Sent it back and I'm getting a refund :) (I hope) Found some fella here that makes manifolds :) He lives about 40 minutes away and it'll be made from aluminium...

You mean the rubber hoses on the rear?? look for them in front of the rear axel on the passenger side.

280mm is 172/182 size, if you havent them bought yet... look for Renault 21 discs.... There 285mm ;) or there is some disc from a Toyota that is 295mm that is the same as Renault fitmeants iirc, should fit under 15" / with the brembos (Thread on here somewhere) *edit* found it :-)...

I got 3mm washers on my yolk, you'll need 15mm wheel spacers also!! (I'm using Williams "track") what mm discs you using coops??

A friend rang some lad in England that he knows(works in Renault uk) he can get them with the centre for £900. this was 2 weeks ago.
