Anything important to look out for when getting the 406 calipers? Suppose to be getting some tomorrow :) I've two options(afaik) with my Williams with these calipers... 1; Fit 3mm washers to caliper/hub mounting & 15mm/20mm hubcentric spacers(€??). 2; 172 hubs, buy brackets(€95)...

The washer size depends on how big the hole is on your heat shield ;) ​ ​Just get a washer that covers the hole so it's nice and tight :)

Does it make the noise if you are stopped and rev the car?? ​ Does it make the noise if you go down a steep hill and keep the car out of gear?

Go to a machine shop... and get them to measure the bearings needed?

Is just the 1.8 mk1 laguna's non ac models dan? (2.0 model?) ​ ​Whats needed...just the lower big alternator bracket and the alternator? Would love to get rid of ac :)

There's loads that fit it.... but the problem is the different gear ratios !! ​ Megane/laguna jc5 gearboxes fit. also mk1 Clio Williams(jc5)/1.8(jc3) (similar ratios )

No point in wasting a 172 cat then if it will/maybe be going back on the road :) What about if you take the cat off and give it to a exhaust company to make a decat with the measurements? Not sure how much that cost though :/ Or the wanted section here ;)

Is the car ph1 or ph2?? The airbag ecu is under the centre console(where the gear selector is)

It will fit fine... but the diesel box will have different gear ratios . ​ Dont think it would suit a track day car IMO!

If it helps your search any bit... the ph1 172 dog mount is the same as a Williams. Get me a picture of the back of the gearbox(from the top)

Should have nothing to do with the gearbox... as You'd hear about it when people swap boxes.. So either it fits perfect... or the only thing I can see is...the subframe mount might be different ph1/ph2??

Yes.... I normally recondition them instead of buying second hand.... The thing you're buying could be the exact samethays being replaced (IMO)

Yep I had one of them working on GTA 4 on pc!! Just connected with USB and I had some button mapper software(can't think of the name :/) that button mapping thing worked with the 360 controller also.

As far as I know... A standard 360 controller plugs straight into a pc and works.... (even the wireless ones work straight away)
