I have to ask the same question. You will still be in the same poorly built ratlling, creaky interior and dashboard. The A/C would be nice but half leather in a Clio makes no difference whatsoever. Oh and you would be in a slower car. If are gonna change look at a LCR or a CTR. Going to a...
I can recommend the Turtle Wax chip stick. As long as there is no dent and its only small chippings fill it in with this stuff and you will never know its there.
My Cup has comparative instant pick up and feels really sharp when I put my foot down. Quite different from my 306 Rallye that only seemed to come alive when it hit 4 - 5000 rev power band, though the stats for the 306 Rallye are still impressive ( 0 - 60 in 6.9 seconds compared to 6.5 with the...
My cup is 14 months old with 12k on the clock. No problems whatsoever apart from dashboard rattles but every car Ive ever owned has had this. Just turn up the stereo and plant your right boot and you never notice them. Will be be keeping mine for another 12 months.
Unlucky mate. I now only go to supermarkets where I know I can park without any other cars next to me. I park miles out of the way of anyone at work if it means Ive got no cars either side of me, even if its pi$$ing it down. Ive had too many dents over the years and am a bit paranoid, but...
New Clio in this weeks Autoexpress. Looks pants to me....mini Megane /Mpv/ Bread van effort. Check it out http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/ Not due out till 2005 so still over a year for current Clio owners to sell up before residuals plummet.
Folks, one of the bolts holding the side skirts on my 172 Cup has worked itself loose and I need to take the bolt out and the re-tighten it. Trouble is the bolt seems to have a hole for a triangular shape tool / screw driver to loose and tighten it up. Anyone know where I can get one of these??
My gearbox clunks when selecting first. A bit like the clunk you get when snicking into first gear on a motorbike. Nowt to worry about I wouldnt have thought.
You cant sell your car privately on finance until youve paid it off because itll be on the HPi register. In effect, the finance company own the car till youve paid it off.
But thats on used cars. You are buying new cars from Renault UK, used cars you are buying off the dealer using his finance. Renault UK have you over a barrell and will only let you use Renault finance to buy a new car with. If the dealer has pre-registered the car it is technically second-hand...
You cant haggle APR on new cars as it is with Renault Finance, the APRs are fixed. Its only on used motors where the garage uses their own finance company is there any room to play with APRs
