funny noise from light box in roof

Wouldn't like to say about it not working... Mine's always been noisy, and the CC works well. The price difference between an import and a non import for a 6 year old car now is tiny if any

    Disgusted with Renault!

I've dealt with Susan Burns before, and she seems ok TBH. She followed stuff up and rang back etc.Doesn't help your situation much, I know. However, she does make a good point about your warranty. The length of the warranty is misleading tho, I've found dealerships unwilling to replace items at...

Is it ok to run your 172 on standard 95 unleaded

'Most modern cars have knock sensors screwed into the engine at multiple places. These actually detect the vibration or shock caused by detonation (rather than trying to detect the sound) and can signal the engine management system to change the ignition timing to reduce or eliminate the...

Is it ok to run your 172 on standard 95 unleaded

You are talking nonsense mate. I've driven to Scotland and back like my pants were on fire. 95 does NOT make your plugs pop out. What a joker

Eagle F1's vs pirelli P nero vs Toyo T1R's

Had contis, P zeros, and Yokos. f1s for me now, never had a better tyre on the car. Grip well in the dry, and grip really well in the wet. Can't comment on wear just yet.

    Tire pressure's with H&R's..

Try some Goodyear Eagle F1s, I really really rate them. No understeer, no squealing on corners and they grip like a muthafooka even in the wet.

    Tire pressure's with H&R's..

Renault advise 33 F 31 R. What tyres are you running mate? I've found my car to understeer when not using really good quality tyres on the front. Really do need lots of grip at the front end especially in the wet, as there's a lot of weight there.

    172 Record Breaker

I have had 34/35mpg continually on my 172 for three years. But I've never bettered it. lad I bought it from was getting 37. Think he drove like an undertaker! To get 40+mpg is impressive, especially when you actually calculate it, not just look on the trip like I do.

    Home Cinema/Speakers

I just bought the cheapest 5.1 system Argos had with optical input about 5 years ago. £99 and five years later it still sounds good, connected up to my PS3 and freesat HD via optical with a splitter, it's fine! I love my separates don't get me wrong, building your own system from Richer Sounds...

    irratic revs

I was in this very predicament recently. I had problematic starting, crazy revs, warning lights and non functioning accelerator. I put my diagnostic tool on, and no codes. Replaced the t/body £55, throttle pedal £28 (cos it's a fly by wire jobbie) and cleaned my TDC sensor. Been fine since...
