get eibachs mate got them on my 197 and theyre very good

i got them for my clio 197 at first i wasnt impressed but after loads of messing around with the EQ i got a decent sound out of them in the end also upgraded the rear speakers to pioneers and that improved things again

Is it worth fitting just the rear or do the pair need changing? The fronts are a pig of a job to change out

ive got eibachs on my 197 with cup shocks and theyre mint better ride and a bit lower than cup (-25mm FF or -15mm cup) for me the ride height is perfect and the ride is better now and the handling is great too. depends if you want looks or ride quality/handling really

my 182 had one but my 197 doesnt doesnt have the litre bottle of oil and holder for the tyre mousse etc. think they mayb got pilfered along the way somehow i got a net of ebay for about £5 and use that to stop the tyre mousse flying about in the boot. renault ones are about £25 i think...

just fixed it i ran it right down (i was bricking it incase it wouldnt go back up again) and sprayed a sh!t load od silicone down the runners. i usually silicon the window rubbers every wash but only do the inside runners 1 or 2 times a year as it makes a mess on the glass i hadnt done it on...

im thinking it may just need lubricating due to lack of use. im going to take the door card out and take a look and grease all the mechanism and see what happens.
