Is there any benefit to changing the original throttle body 90 degree for a silicone one? I can only see negatives such as expense, losing the suspension effect of the ribbed section and if you get a cheap 90 you have no breather hose connection.

Well it was 12:30 in the morning, freezing cold and dark by the time I got home but I went out after the Mrs had gone to bed armed with a socket set, screwdriver and a torch and here we are: That will keep he engine sounding angry enough until I get the ITB's fitted in a few months.
