is it the "ultimate" stuff? I bought a bottle years ago and used it because i didnt know any better, it was horrible stuff, leaving white residue all over the place and difficult to remove.
Had the Clio in the air earlier to examine the source of the blow, I had an assistant rev the engine whilst I worked along the exhaust, from the back box to the manifold (under the car and from the engine bay) and there are no leaks.
So decided to take the inlet plenum off and have a nosy ...
Alright Steve, are you getting the b pillar one done too ? I still need to do mine on the 182 and it's similar to the cup one so will be interested if they can get rid :)
Well the sound took a turn for the worse yesterday , it now struggles to get above 4k , my guess is still on the manifold gasket ... Any idea how hard this is to change ?
I always like to get the first appointment of the day (Saturday) that way I can sit in my car with the engine running or already warned up. Same applies if you have a specific time slot too. Sounds to me that they might have been a bit lazy.

Hi,
I have some engine , gearbox movement when backing off the throttle which leads me to believe my dogbone is shot.
Threads about the power flex inserts all seem to mention increased noise & vibration. My 182 is my daily and not a track car, is it worth going uprated or should I stick to OE?
what about those CV boots that are split and need gluing , this may be an easier option..just be careful with the grease or you will never get the glue to stick
was the engine fully warmed up before it was tested, if not you could be looking for a solution for a problem that doesnt exist once warmed up.
Is your exhaust standard?
Did they give you any pointers as to what to look at as i assume they also had a look underneath as part of the MOT
