It may be just from a decat..my old MK1 1.4 RT used to pop a blue flame occasionally - i think you would only notice it at night though.

If I was buying the car I would try and get some discount due to this (but that's just me I always negotiate). It's not an issue though as it's still got 12 months left in it. If it was my car and I was selling I wouldnt let it be a justification for haggle.

If you want noise - then the induction kit or else just got for an uprated panel filter. Not sure if there will be any power changes, the panel filter will be washable so better come servicing time
