Scoff made a good point when I had mine there that if there is a leak at the tee then it would run lean so don't tee anything off the fuel reg hose. Take a new feed off the inlet manifold plenum.
Makes sense to me so I did it.
No excuses now that the weather stopped me working on the car. Best £30 I've spent! :p
Not that I needed it today but this weather is out the norm for Glasgow! 99% of the time it's pi5hing down.
Other jobs completed today were dash removed to get the sound deadening all out from behind...
How do you know the second hand one will be ok?
Think they are different as there are a few types and presume they have different levels of advancement.
Had LOTS of pm's about the splitter so thought I'd post on here so everyone knows what the script is.
The material is black hdpe plastic cut to shape using a jigsaw and then the edges are polished. The shape is 100mm oversize of thebumpier on the front tapering to 50mm oversize at the sides...

Thanks to Focrs on here, we managed to get the cage platforms all build and he also welded an additional harness bar on for me. Big thanks mate!!!
Decided to go for mondial blue interior spray with the cage being powder coated orange. This will be done last as the car is not...
I wanted it to be 100mm deep at the front and taper to 50mm at the sides so measured out from the bumper making a series of dashes than joined them up. Then for under the subframe I went as far as I needed to reach the fixing holes and cut around the wheel arches for clearance.
