I saw this up for swap , looks a nice motor , was miles away from me though.
What did you have before - 182?
How is the economy compared to the Clio mpg wise
Dan yes that is what you do but I am sure the majority of garages wouldn't do that as part of the service , he could have been using it as his daily driver for all we know.
You are the exception but many garages are just in it for the pure £££££ and don't give a fook ( generalisation but my...
I have been bitten by the BMW bug again , I put my cup up for sale in September then convinced myself I would be better keeping it because nothing else matches them for the price, handling, economy etc..... However for some reason the BMW bug has come back - god knows why as it snows outside ...
Test drive both and take it from there – initial thoughts would be an 03 STi, prices have dropped recently and 6k is now the price band they are in.

I am very interested in this thread having owned a classic wrx before the cup...
like it, did you respray the wheels?
get some stripes on it (like them on the RBs plus they are allowed to be there) , fresh plates as above and job done - will be a nice OE example ;)
nice picture, i would like to own a 16v one day - ever since i had a mk1 RT as a daily driver i wanted one!
Hhighly unlikely finding one these days , there seems to be very few about (tin worm?) - not sure i would swap the cup for one but nevertheless i can want :approve:
