Re: Pics inside - New wheels on (sort of) - Now to become a sheep or chase the hero s
I have a similar problem. Just swapped my standard Ph2 wheels for 16" Turinis. No change in size but it just looks like it now needs to go lower. I can't be arsed stiffening the ride with coilys though...
I agree that this is a massive pain in the arse for you mate but the council can't possibly keep tabs on every inch of their roads. All this blame culture is getting us nowhere.
That said, why should you be out of pocket when 99% of others would make a claim.
Auto wipers are ok but I miss an 'intermittent' setting. I hate how the auto lights make it impossible to flash your full beams. What's all that about?
Anything else for the list?...
Wipers that give the driver a better view than the passenger
Seats that go back to the position they were in...
It's a 172 with a nice respray. I like it.
The only thing that would put me off buying is the owner claiming it's something it's not. I don't think I could buy a car off someone who is blatantly prepared to lie to my face.
It's not a conversion though...I reckon
Very weird. Does your car beep when you lock it? If so I believe that indicates that the movement sensors are disabled. I'm sure you'll get some answers from someone more knowledgable than me
I don't think anyones said it's a 'pure driving experience'. We'd all be driving Caterhams if that were the case.
What bugs me is every model seems to be outgrowing itself. The Clio is supposed to be a cheap small car generally owned by people who don't need a load of space. RS took advantage...
Will they fit ok basically. They are 15" aren't they whereas standard non-cup wheels are 16". Is my car likely to look silly with them as without the cup setup my car sits a little higher. A big gap in the wheel arch I mean?
Also, on a side note, I have been told by a mechanic that a rear...
I remember one of the traders on here saying that some of the best RS Clios he sees are the ones doing regular mileage. Sitting in a garage for 7 years isn't any good for them. They want to be used and looked after
Yeah, what's the need for such a heavy clutch. I got a brand new Valeo (or something like that) fitted by Birchdown and even this is mega heavy. I know it's common in the 'sportscar' world but why?
Ha. Nothing wrong with it mate. But if you're that bothered about weight loss then just get rid of the cover altogether. You're basically paying £200 for extra weight!
Right, someone needs to explain this bonnet to me. It has a top and a bottom? I'm confused. Is it just a weight reduction measure? To be fair it's gotta be better than the £200 carbon fibre engine cover
