Well aren't you grown up, Alan.
Jesus, it's a car that's fun to drive, pretty practical and cheap. The only way I'd ever judge someone driving one is if they'd modded the hell out of it and ruined it
I'm 26 and always had fiestas and focuses up until last year. Decided to get something much more grown up in a V70. Absolutely beautiful car but the most boring thing I've ever driven. Got myself a 172 after that and now I even look forward to driving to work in the mornings. My only problem now...
A policeman isn't going to pull you over for not declaring you are the main driver. Yes, you will be lying on an insurance policy...I personally don't have a problem with that.
Haha, you work in insurance Russ?! Jesus, if you can get it for cheap then do whatever you can. Insurance itself is the biggest scam going. Fleece the b*****ds all you can.
I had a 60K service at Birchdown and they give the car a once over and tell you any other bits that might need sorting in the near future. No problems really, just my reg light. Then I took it to Renault for the bonnet catch and they mentioned that my engine mounts are mis-shapen. Now it looks...
I hate how Clios, Fiestas and cars of that category are becoming more focus-sized. The 172/182 is a perfect size for people who enjoy driving a car and don't have much need for room. I fear I'm treading on thin ice as a Clio driver...but stepping down to the Twingo seems a bit gay.
If it's got FSH on an 05 plate then the cam belt will have been done in 2010 surely?
Anyway, I'm looking for an RB ff so get some pics up mate! I'll certainly beat a webuyanycar quote.
Haha. Quality. I had a Fiesta years ago and the revs used to die every time you put the clutch to the floor. This resulted in me having to press the clutch, brake and tickle the throttle every time I rolled up to a junction, all simultaneously.
Sheer panic every time I slowed down!
