^^ get it.. :approve:
Henk , the man designing this has done my car here in Holland (custom job) and i can say he's one of the best , if not the best in Europe  (you do'nt leave untill he's satisfied)
i'm basing this on my own experience with him and all the feedback on all forums
i had a look at a cup racer a couple of weeks ago. I asked how the engine was mounted; where the mounts were ; engine is bolted straight onto chassis !
The Sadev box would'nt work with a moving engine, it would keep coming out of gear
I think when stiffening/ taking all the movement out...
I have been following this too, i think the gearbox mount (underbattery ) is almost (?) the same , the other top one is the different one. Whereas the RS one is liquid filled, this one i believe to be solid rubber, no gaps between the rubbers ..
Icarus will be along to verify/explain , still...
ahh there it is, nice job this ! I looked through your threads and dug this one up as it's MOT time soon again :( I will have to attempt to copy your work of art here ;)
Hope the cams + map etc. wo'nt send my CO through the sky ..
Have you even looked at his pics ? it's more than 5cm ..
When i put in buckets the next thing i did was raise the seats :D I'm about 2 meters tall so my prob is that seat are too low
this is the readable version..
@Riley ; surely not. It's power at the wheels ! :D And the first one shows 160,.. at the wheels yes, the second one shows 171... We even got a run just before that was higher ; almost 175 !! This was due to the cooler situation , later was a "warmer" run...
^^ right, this explains the white residue/guck i found on a cooling hose.. before i always had blue, after the last big service i now have red !! (engine was out etc.)
Is the residue there because of the rests of the blue reacting with the new red ?!
yeah your filter must be s**t , look at you total torque-dip around 3700 rpm.. wow !
But a remap to suit your inlets will make yours a different car as it does look willing ! Could come out a lot better because now with the large dips you are still making quite good hp at certain point...
A while ago when you said you have been trying different cams to try + get the nicest figures i thought ; "I have to follow this guy "..
turned out you were spot on with your choice of cams
^^ Cheers ! Yeah i could'nt be more happy because all the things done does buy a smart second hand car ..
When compresion is down, does cam-timing have any say in that ? I've read about a couple of cases where bad timing caused 15-20 hp loss with car seeming to run fine .. ?
You remember correct ! When the cams were being mounted, together with all bits and the engine was out, i called to see how things were and the man who has a lot of Renault experience told me he suspected the car had work done on it because the way the inlet ports looked. (that's not the head...
When you have the Rstuner (Pro i think is nessescary) and also have cams Henk can make a map to suit with all the data you get on a recording that you send him. En035 has also done this and was very pleased with the results
people must have been drinking :D Not 200 at the wheels ! probably around somewhere 200 @ the fly (when you throw 15% equation on the 171,6 wheel-power stated in the graph) .. Only thing mentioned on these graphs is power at the wheels
And yes the top curve is NM , the torque (which is a...
:D nono believe me it's at the wheels. We have torque in Newton meters. Torque increased around 10 NM
press the bar above the pics for full view. (Fossie, because your eyes hurt trying to find out ..)
Generous RR ? This is one of the RR's that has Henk's approval , his home base...
