Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
That's what I thought at first and thought getting wheel refurbs was the wrong thing to do as a machine polisher does a better job at a fraction of the price. lol:o
Next on my list is the cage along with a yozza exhaust so need to look at this one.
Always wondered why they were so reasonably priced but if you think the quality is as good it's worth considdering.
Any other track days planned at knockhill?
I think everyone had a spin at some point. I had 2 as well.
Someone went into the barrier just after the chicane and the session was red flagged. It was a Clio 172 cup I think and when he came back to the pit lane the bumper was hanging off. Think it got fixed and was back on track in no...
Seemed to miss you all day at knockhill. Every time I was out you were in and vice versa.
Car looked sweet but and sounded very nice. What exhaust system have you got?
Was it you that had the bump?
Took me an hour and half to get there, thought that was bad but then took 4 hours to get home. My arse was killing me in that damn evolution seat!
Was having so much fun I forgot to take any pics.

Got a few good laps in just before lunch then my alternator tensioner decided to break so after a couple of pikey fixes that didn't work it was game over.
Good to see you all!

What an update, very jealous but pleased for you. This is going to be some machine indeed!
Looking forward to the next update. What are you going to do on the next update to beat that, you putting an F1 engine in it?
Looking very sweet mate, I'll see you tomorrow at knockhill!
What you using tyre wise in the rain that is expected?
I've got yoko A048's or pe2's but not sure what will be best. I'll be bringing both so I'll see when i get there.
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
Yours too mate!
Really hope the weather is not piss poor as I don't really have any tyres for the rain, just some pe2's with about 3mm tread.
See you Monday.
Re: 172 Cup track toy!
Got my new Sabelt Renaultsport steering wheel, spacer and boss so thought i'd crack on getting them fitted. After getting the perfect seating position for my legs I thought the wheel was a bit of a stretch but the spacer set to 60mm is bang on.
