probably also due to side-airbags that the 172 Cup seats do'nt have. With the weight removed from mine it felt like a different car,could'nt believe it would make such a difference. I can compare it to a passenger missing , weightwise. In the end the laptime is not going to be a lot/any...

forgot that the K-tec exhaust weighs a LOT less than the OEM exhaust.. Trying to find out where my weightloss comes from , from 1021 to 960.. I remember weighing all the seats and that bar thing in the back, came to a small 50kg.. the exhaust made up the rest of the difference i think. No Cat...

Going to remove the rear buckles/belts this afternoon, also the plastic bits where the rear speakers are supposed to go, where the rear belts roll up into. must be good for another .03 hp :clown:

yes i believe the leather seats are like 15 kg (a piece) heavier than the crap-cup-seats

I've checked , these wheels have the right bore size (6,1) , + the right ET (for Cup being ET 38) weight is 5,2 kg , the Turinis are 8,9

20 kg weightloss !! wow, done good there Offset looks wrong though.. i think you'll need around 13mm spacers for those to get to ET 40 , (my Cup 172 being ET 38)

You did ofcourse support the engine when mounting ? (would'nt know any other way..) Trie and do the BenP wat; loossen all top mounts left+ right and pull the engine forwards as far as possible and retighten. Do'nt know if this will lign things up for you :S

I think the rubber bit on the drive shaft/axle bit near/on the hub ?

Check your toe in/out setting.. toe in will give a more straightline stability as toe out will feel easier on curves. Maybe you have too much toe in ?

Right up my street , am looking into lighter wheels aswell. You sound like your setup is still wrong , even after laser setup. Did you go and put your rear tyres to the front maybe ? This caused me a lot of problems a while back, had two adjustments done untill i found out that you should...
