maybe he did'nt read enough of the b****cks on here and he already had the better "RS" inlet manifold with which gains to be had with matching are minimal ?
Yozza was looking into Colombo & Bariani cams a little while back, maybe start to sell them in the UK.
Real happy European customers , heard good things about them.
Same quality (if not better) as Schrick
bump for you ;)
as this snapped bracket is one of the common CLio problems a lot of people know about; so one of you might have payed Reno to fix it !?
yes the stage two is the one i was talking about, everything you need is in this one.
Still i think every car will react different to it so the mapping will be one of the most important things in the job
The MB Car Performance turbokit will be / is mapped by Henk Fastchip. He was involved in the design of the kit.
I was reading the posts of a dutch customer on the Renault forum we have over here ; his latest post was him being happy/excited over racing a BMW 330Ci on the motorway leaving the...
C'mon Dicky ! read what Edde had to say in the last page, that says it all..
Box is running at the limit of power it can handle (200NM) so when abusing you will go over the edge quickly and damage it.
But there are also the people who have put a turbo on their engine and are still okay with...
I honestly do'nt get payed by these guys but i end up promoting them a lot.. (makers of the MB shortshifter + the 172 lowboost turbokit )
I've read very good things about this system; replaces the carburator-s**t-system.. LOT of very happy GT5 drivers in Holland
may be of some help to you with...
The early upshift is because i can really feel there's nothing there in the 7500+
Next time round will be a better watch, i'll give it some more ;)
You have PM btw
Get the metal cableties , lay yourself under the car and you'll think of something... easy peasy
and yes, those German backboxes do make your rear end look slammed, soooo heavy
This morning in the pooring rain with me handy taped to my steeringwheel.. notice i skip first gear to keep traction, i'll do another one later because the speedometer fell just out of the image and it was too dangerous to keep going in these wet conditions. The car was starting to go all over...
i"ll give it a trie . Will be handy quality but should be good enough to see revs and kmph
You know what it's like; it's never enough ;) i want the car at it's best and with the cambelt service coming up i was thinking why not !? ; and go for these nice cams like you got in yours. However...
Alper, have you noticed my torque level at 2500 rpm ?
With your graph compared to mine i'm in doubt of getting the C&B's. the car is already so fast.. Seems to me there's no/little difference. Although there is the temperature difference we have to keep in mind..
I MUST give Henk a call and see...
Alper ; this one was done at almost half your 34c temperature ; 18c !
-Group N Fastchip map
-K-tec Stealth with sportcat
-ITG panelfilter
-weight removal (back seats , buckets)
Shows that hot temp is no good for performance hey ?
Still somehow i think mine is over-exaturated a bit ; they...
Driveshafts longer ?? No mate , it's only the cup wheels that give wider track on the 172 Cup in comparison to the normal 172 ; different ET to bring them out more. Same hubs for both 172s
Yeh the glass seems to be thinner , lighter
your 182 hubs are bigger than the 172 hubs. You'll need the 182 Turinis (antracite) for your cup mod, because the 172 cup turinis will be sticking out too far because of the difference in ET value.
All 182 hubs are the same ; cup or none cup
my H&R's squeek from the back, not even a year old. i think i hit them too much with the jet washer because they started sqeeking after the car was washed..
... i thought the "oh dear" was funny !
Anyway.... Poor road, 95 Octane fuel (why????) , HOT. These are a good combo for ruining performance
I've never tried running 95. It WILL run fine for day to day use, just do'nt expect performance with a car mapped on 98
Hi, yes it's very common. I just changed mine again (mine's done 70k+).
There's a trick to keep the knocking to a minimal; loosen the driverside bolts of the top mount and pull the engine as far forward as you can and tighten back up.
Changing the mounts all round will cost around 170 pounds...
