right i'm 100% baffled by this, i've had the thing apart, cams out, tappets ultrasonically cleaned, put it back together, timing is spot on and its making this noise still anyone got any ideas? the only other thing i can think is depasher/exhaust pulley

1997 P reg 1.9D clio, 3 door, 58000miles, 12months MOT, no tax, 1 lady owner from new rear arches are rusty, quite tidy for its age normal wear and tear, rear shocks are gone though how much you reckon?
