Just been out to the garage to have a look at my car after my trackday the other week (Oulton)
I had a look at the front passenger side tyre and this drawing is a representation of what I found.
OK I'm not an artist!
Now what I think I have there is too much tyre pressure...
Evening - I have just finished checking the car for its track day on Wednesday and have picked up some play in the steering ( hold the wheel at 9 and 3 + wiggle) on both sides
How much should I expect? It's bad timing really as im going to be.pushed to change them if they need doing!

I have put some rough setting onto the clio and am after some feedback, (i will adjust when i have tyre temp info)
Front ride height (hub center to bottom of wheel arch) 407mm (level bottom arms to try to reduce roll center and bump steer issues)
frontn Camber: 1 degree negitive...
I have taken the clocks apart whilst messing with turning dash lights off, but i have managd to more the rev counter dial and could do with knowing where to reset it to.

I was messing around fitting my horn button accidently shorted the wires to the wheel , burnt myself and i now have no working horn AND my immobiliser if flashing like a good-un

Checked the pipes and this is the only bit i can see... is this what its failed for? if so whats the best way to fix - cut it out and fit a replacement section or change the whole lot?
I have a Clio 172 with a electronic throttle, when I start the car it hunts between 500 & 2000rpm and the throttle pedal is unresponsive
Any idea's?
It also seems to be intermittent as other times it starts and works fine- maybe an earth issue? Its also worth noting that the car is left...

The plan
The idea is to build a rally spec clio on a reasonable budget.
The first job was to find a part finished car, finish it and add the motorsport tweeks so i bought this:
Not a bad starting point, Not perfect and needed alot of work but what i liked...
Afternoon chaps,
i went a slightly gungho and forgot that i had bought the strut brace with my top mounts from pure motorsport.
as a result i have drilled two sets of holes question is... will this cause a real problem with strength? and worth while getting the redundant holes welded up...
What would you recomend as a rear spring rate and length for a tarmac rally car.
i have a set of coilovers which use the standard spring location

I have started to strip out the interior, as its a rally car i want to try and get rid of as much of the non essiential gubbins as possible.
Airbags assiociated looms and ecu: what can and cant i remove? and how do i remove any warning...
Do they fit on the back of a clio 1*2 Cup or non cup?
I would like a definitive answer from people who have fitted them not read about it on the forum please
