Check your fuse box and see what amperage that circuit has. Most likely it's 10 Amps which is 120 watts. Add up your expected load and see if it's less. You don't want to overload the circuit.
Parking sensors usually run off the reverse light circuit so they only get power when reversing.
Looks great as it is. I'd spend that 130 quid on a good drive weekend away with night or two in a nice hotel somewhere with somebody special. But I'm funny that way. :)
From experience with my 172 it's when the hazard lights unexpectedly start flashing and cannot be turned off. I think it's predictive hazard detection, part of the ESP. Or a broken switch.
Thanks for adding to the conversation Marcos999 and sotkie4ker.
To summarise the answer to "Can anyone put their finger on what it is about the stock airbox that is so good?" it's because the stock air box takes into account resonances and fluid dynamics of the intake air to optimise torque at...
Take a look at this thread where somebody put ITBs (and a whole lot more) onto a 172:

Post #144 is a dyno chart; post #145 is a response saying "Good power figure... but you have lost torque...
Thanks for the welcome.
Since buying the car it's clocked 100,000 km and I've had it serviced. Changed all belts and tensioners -- some pulleys were cracked so it was a good thing it was done before it was driven much. Had a few other things repaired and replaced at the same time, cost of work...
It's not just about volume of air, or air temperature. It's about weird, wonderful fluid-dynamic type things happening to the moving mass of air as it travels through the intake tract, where resonances and other n-th order stuff increases the amount of air actually getting into the cylinders...
Hello
Just purchased a 2003 Clio RS 172 Black with sunroof. Always wanted, now I have. About to install cruise control. Keeping it stock.
Was pleasantly surprised to get a package from the UK with the ClioSport membership goodies. Love the key chain. No idea what a tax disk is. :rasp:
