i wouldn't bother with strut braces. paint a few things in the bay subtle colours that go with the car, like black and blue etc. i wouldn't go too far with it tho just tidy it up a little.

no reason you cant paint the inlets bright silver, the paint the engine cover any colour you want.

wouldnt bother, just clean it up and paint it.

green on blue will be interesting if thats what you are intending on doing.

i have t1'r's mate. they are pretty good especially for how little they cost. my only complaint are that the sidewalls are a little soft for me. the fronts last just over a year too (12k ish).

common. happened to mine a couple of years ago. do not drive it, replace with genuine discs, smooth and grease sliders on calipers while replacing discs.

oh fred... did you know if that was the correct part number for a ball joint (424RE0230).

have a search for reviews on here. it depends on your driving style tbh. on the car i drove the car seems to turn in better/sharper. more oversteer and possibly less understeer. that was an adjustable one on medium setting.

when your shocks are dead the car will seem to bounce rather than drive flat if you know what i mean. you have apex springs tho, which are stiff and they do tend to bounce/skittle.

UPDATE... massive thanks to fred for his time and knowledge! took it to him on monday, he stripped all of the front suspension down. the knocking fix washers had been fitted wrong :S he checked everything else and tourqued everything up properly. and it was an improvement straight away! not...

yeah, what i meant was there is no need to uprate the front one. standard one is fine :)

you don't tend to fit front anti roll bars to a front wheel drive car. forget the front arb and front and rear braces, just go for the rear arb.

get the sticker nice and warm with a hair dryer, peel sticker off slowly. remove the leftover glue with tar remover.

imo, from experience with them both fronts and rears are a waste of money. if you want something that makes a difference get a rear anti roll bar.

lightweight, great for cooling the brakes and they look good (imo)

they are apex springs which are a pretty harsh ride but coilovers will not be softer. best bet is some sportline springs. they will raise your car about 20mm (from what it is now) but it will be a smoother ride.

looks great, will look even better with the spoiler on. not liking the turinis if im honest tho.

i agree. i like it but the stickers are far too patchy. almost half finished. the ones on the boot floor would look good if they covered the whole floor inc wheel well and seat belt clips and isofix removed. dont like the bonnet and grill stickers. rest of the car looks pretty good tbh :)

29kg but still heavier than a standard one. good start tho. i would now remove the amp, wires, spare wheel and tools.
