8kg on the front and 12kg on the back and the rear was (until I could stand it no longer) set to about 70% of its damper stiffness
please enlighten me, I didnt fit them.
a combination of lazyness, frustration, lack of time and the fact that the rest of the car not in good cosmetic condition...

Update after Snetterton Track Day.
The car was in my mates garage (Torque of the South, Southend) until the day before Snetterton getting ready, and he has done a bloody good job. The car was excellent round Snetterton, took me a while, and a few offs, to get the hang of the stiffer and less...
Quick update, the Dyno day will not be on the 3rd as my mrs has told me that I have to go to some family thing and can't the car as an excuse again. We can arrange it for any Saturday though, just need to get a few more confirmed to make it worth while. FYI I have just had my clio 172 on the...
Spotted at the Sutton rd car wash, then spotted again driving past my mates workshop just off sutton rd while I was working on my clio outside

Quick minor update.
Collected a roll cage and racing battery from @-Dan- today. Managed to get the battery fitted today, cage should be going in next week.
It drives brilliantly now the polybushes are on as well.
Cheers, I have just got back from the garage. Took the car out for a spin and the gearbox is defiantly an improvement on the old one!
I will still take those tyres if thats ok, I forgot all about them as well. I will text you when I have a date to be in your neck of the woods. Cheers
Morning all,
I will be putting spacers on my wheels which will bring them past the arches, can anyone recommend a good way to extend the arches to cover this?
I am looking at some arch extensions (link below) on ebay but want to see if anyone has experience with this. They do not have to look...
Quick Update
Work has been really busy the last week so I have not had a chance to do as much as I would like.
The car has been in my friends garage (torque of the south in Southend, Essex) for a gearbox swap and some other bits that I am not capable of doing on my own yet, I am slowly...
I don't regret taking it out, it is going to be a hardcore car by the time i am done and every kg I can shed will be gone, including the radio. So I will tie up all the cables properly when I have finished messing about with it, but is always going to be just cable ties holding it all up, unless...
Hi mate,
Haven't sorted a time yet, but it will be an all day event, so 9-5ish, once we have a full list I will sort out AM or PM time for people. What would you prefer?
Yeah, it is pretty noisy. Decat is going on this week so should be even worse now!
Good idea, Ill give it a go.
If butchering the dash doesn't work I will just do that, saves all the messing about!
They will be easily removable for the track. The car is road legal and will be driven to track days so I need something to keep me entertained on the jouorney
Evening all,
I have removed the entire dash board from my car (see below) but still want somewhere to put the switches, radio, heater controls etc in the centre as it will still be a road legal car. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am guessing I will have to make something myself...
Update:
I sprayed the interior. Its far from a professional job but it does the trick. I realise the colour choice is unusual but at least you will see it coming!
I have never spray painted before, so this was all a learning curve. I learned that I should have removed the windows first, that I...
If you have a driver over 21 in the passenger seat who has had a license over 4 years then you could drive up there on L plates, or just let them drive it up there. You don't have to worry about insurance to be on the dyno, the garage does all of that.
Date has not been confirmed yet as I want...
Quickly book it up and pass  Are you insured on the car? Could always get a friend to drive it down or stick your L plates on and get someone in the passenger sear

I have been texting @-Dan- this evening and he said exactly the same thing. He advised going for stiffer springs on the rear and to work it out on the BC rears add 30% to the equivalent full rear coilover. So if I wanted a 6kg rear spring, I would go for a 8kg as its a platform set up.
I am...

I would prefer Rayleigh, its a good track and the carts are pretty good too + theres no chance of getting wet, I was there a month ago for a company doo and it was a good laugh. Be warned, bring a spare change of...
