I am arranging a dyno day on another thread since this one was cancelled if you are interested

Ive just been reading his (and your) comments on an old thread
http://www.cliosport.net/threads/agggh-the-endless-track-coilover-and-spring-rate-debate-help.747358/
He was running 450/475 on sportline2's. is that comparable to the BC's?
I have been doing some reading, mainly on this forum, and realised that this is a much more debated topic than I thought.
Should I not have a slightly stiffer front 8kg/7.1kg (450/400lb) as it has all the weight?
What spring rates and strut height do you currently have?
Hi All,
I am looking for some advice, and kind of fast (need to order them Friday morning). For those that haven't seen my other posts or project thread (link below), I have just started work on a 172 track car but know very little about how cars actually work, I only started on Friday so I am...
In case you haven't seen it I am arranging a Dyno day in Southend
http://www.cliosport.net/threads/dyno-day-southend-essex-all-cars-welcome-even-4wd.781068/
Coil pack, leads and other basic bits I can do myself but injectors and brakes I've never done, so I will probably be asking for help from others in the pits lol
I have just removed all the airbags from mine, and from what ive read it is not a fail as long as the light is not on (3.3ohm resistor sorts that) and the airbags have been removed.
Also harnesses are not a fail as long as they are fitted correctly and you remove the old seat belts. If the seat...
Yes he does, it does stand out a bit lol. You will see it in some of the pictures on my 'Nurburgring trip' thread when I get round to putting some more up
I have started a dyno day thread in the south east section but thought it may be applicable here. Link to the thread below. Please only respond on the other thread, this one will not be monitered.
Cheers,
Tim...
Hi all,
After seeing the cancelled dyno day I posted on the thread asking if anyone was interested to try again and I got a few responses so I though I would see if there is still enough interest to do it.
I figure it would be a good to get a load of local clio owners together so everyone can...
I'm impressed with it, its the first time ive fitted aftermarket seats to a car so I wasn't sure what to expect with the mounts. I looked them up last night and like you say they are the ultra low ones. They will be even lower when I remove the standard spacers that I forgot to take out from the...
its also a road car so don't want a s**t load of warning lights coming up lol. I will leave it in place but unplug it, then it can be plugged back in for the MOT to get rid of the warning light
If you break anything I have spares, just stripped my whole dash

Quick after thought. Do you reckon that the Traction control sensor is mounted in the middle of the car for a reason? could there be a G sensor in there? Don't want to move it and get problems
Cheers, I would guess you are right with the top one as I couldn't turn the T/C light off after I disconnected it. As they are not that important I think I will move them to a more prominent position cable tied to the makeshift dash :tongueout:
Evening all,
What do the 2 sensors do pictured? I think they are airbag related but not sure. As I am about to remove all the airbags I don't think I need them but not sure.

I have now got a bucket seat, it is not what I had planned to get but it was cheap enough and good enough to get me started and it turned up at my door today
more on my project thread

Today's update.
The stains in the floor have been shifted with some white spirit ready for the interior spray next week
The metalwork across the dash that held the fusebox and dash up has been removed, making it harder to cable tie the instruments in and accessible place, but at least its...
FYI there is a new 4WD dyno at Torque of the South Motorsport in Southend, Essex, mainly specialises in Japanese cars (Pulsars, skylines etc) but I know the owner and I may be able to sort out a dyno day if enough people are still interested. It will be a deposit up front deal to ensure people...
