Very nice, thinking of getting hids for mine. You wanna put your drivers side wheel arch back on, theres a bit on that to protect the aux belt/roller from the elements.
Odd problem, sounds daft but have you made sure the wheel bolts are all on tight?? Also check the rear discs for cracks and make sure the pads are seated correctly with the pin and slider.

Then fit it yourself, its fairly straightforward. You can even do it without removing the cross panel. Youll also need some new renault type D coolant.
As said above the 172/182 already has the longer arm. If its creaking/really stiff get a new cable from Renault. Renault have improved them over the standard ones. The clutches arent that stiff (if youve ever driven a russian army jeep).
