Tyres aint an issue, they are nearly new PE2's. It happens in the wet and dry, are faults with it logged so they can be read by a fault code reader??

How sensitive is the ABS in your 172/182s?? Im sure mine isnt right. It will come on way before the wheel starts to lock. It only comes on when I brake hard but I feel it doesn't need to.

Does it seem more firm when the brakes are warm/ after driving it for a bit?? Ive found the mk2ph2 non rs clios do have "catchy" brakes right from the top of the pedal.

I dont think it will, the 1.2 8v has a different system to all the other clios.

Only a slight difference, the ports are better matched to the plenum, but still nowhere near perfect.

Ive had mine fitted for over 2 years now, its passed 2 mots with it on. Its a pain to fit as mentioned its hard to get to, youll need a new manifold to cat fitting kit aswel.

When they did mine they stuck a blueish/purpleish sticker with some numbers on next to it. They replaced the whole thing and sprayed it in a high melting white grease (lithium grease?).

Was going to say, this makes a very distinctive ticking noise when the solenoid jams. Easiest way is to disconnect it to prove it.

Thought Id mention it as a lot of people think the mount is just the top bit you see. The bit that wears is all the stuff underneath that attached to the strut. The bearing things are crap and too small imo.

iirc the front bumpers are £750 from renault, the wings are £65. Best to try 2nd hand such as joshydee or mattblack and then get them sprayed at a bodyshop. Have a look on ebay for a air con rad, i got one from a 182 for £35 and it was mint. PS if you need a front splash guard, ive got one...

For me it has to be middos or whoevers is the white 172ph1 with the orange wheels and cage. I dont think you should nominate your own cars!!
