Any one in the merseyside area have any old plugs from a 172/182 I could borrow?
Trying to rule out if the new plugs I've fitted are dodgy. I've binned the other ones :(
Got a new plug from local reno dealer (£19 ouch) as I realised I binned the old plugs :( Fitted and it seems better but still not 100%. Wifes just been out and she says its still a bit lumpy when at junctions.
Anyone got any ideas? Could it be more iffy plugs? Be shocked if its the coil pack...
Right managed to find time to take a look. Popped the plugs out. All looked clean except for number 1(closest the battery). This looked dirty. Refitted and torques to 25nm. All back together, took the HT leads of the coil pack one by one and refitted. Still the Same.
So unplugged number 1 and...
Yeah correct plugs. Got them as part of a kit from NE performance. Number also matched what I took off.
Just found it strange how it's fine when it's warmer.
Hello,
After some help please. Carried out a oil, oil filter, coolant and plug change on my wifes 2004 Clio 182. Filled up and took it out for a spin last night. All fine. This morning the idle was very rough. Tried to pull out the street and the engine light came on and it was struggling to...
Did the wife's last week. Very straight forward. Like Fred says just unplug the sensors.
I ordered a new gasket but never had it at the time so quick job for next week.
£12 from halfords.
Was looking at the renault fitment 76mm 12 flutes caps as I've used these on the replacement filter element style. Was think about getting one however since the filter had crushed a bit from the strap wrench I thought it might not be able to get a good grip.
Pliers are...
Will see what halfords have at dinner. Failing that I'll get these on the way home

Either the grips or the screw driver option are the only things left I think. Trying to avoid the screw drivers as I have bad visions of ripping it to pieces and be left with the bottom bit still attached to the engine :(
What a pain.
Can't seem to budge it. Just snapped a nylon strap wrench tying to remove it. It's made nonimpact apart from crushing it a little.
Also discovered 3 snapped bolts on the top part if the inlet manifold and also one of the bolts for the fuel rail guard is snapped.
Oh what fun :(
Hello, I was wondering if someone can help. Discovered today that we have a leak in the boot. After looking further it looks like the boot lid isn't align'd properly. The boot lid does have a dent on the right hand side (previous owner) so guess this might have caused the miss alignment.
Is...

Clio's due a brake fluid change and I'm in need of a new Ezzi Bleeder. Then I stumbled across these Speedbleeders in the state. Quick google found http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Braking/Brake_Bleeders/Goodridge_Speed_Bleeder/1711/3680
Seems like a really handy/easy solution...
Always been a fan of ds2500 however they arn't road legal if your cars post 2001 I think. Can't remember the full details something to do with them not being certified. A believe pagid pads are.
Don't bother. If you want to go faster then invest in driver training. Cheaper long run as it goes with you to your next car.
Not sure but doesn't the trophey have the same spring rates but lower height on the front?
What tyres you got?
Don't know if this applies to the rs but years ago I had a 1.2 dynamique. I left if for about 3 months and it wouldn't start. Breakdown came out and it was something to do with the ignition being out of sync. Think he turned the ignition on and off 20 times and that sorted it.
Had a full set fitted to the FF182 the other week. Transformed but that wasn't hard as the previous owner had fitted ditch finders.
