Ok I'm trying to understand some logs I took recently. They were logged using dashcommand and a 3rd gear run from low 2000rpm up at wide open throttle.
MAP sensor. I'm confused on why the figure is low upto 2500rpm then shoots up to just below 1bar. I would of thought it would have been just...
Can't get to the back so can't do nut and bolt.
Cable tie lol. But an idea. Going to see if I can try another tap set that has a plug type instead of bottoming type.
HELP!
So so fitting my new janspeed cat back to my wife's 182, the center mount bolt snapped :(
Drilled it out and ordered some m10 bolts. Tried tapping a new thread but just can't get it to catch and cut.
Any ideas what to do next?
I was there today in my black fabia however I never made it out the pit garage due to a leaking rear caliper. Knew I should if took the 182 :(
Was good to see a few clio's there.
Does after about 2 minutes it goes to normal like a flick of a switch?
That's the issue I'm having. Took some logs of the O2 sensor today and to me it looks wrong which would indicator a new sensor.
Currently playing with the above to log engine sensors.
I've got engine speed, speed, MAP, O2 sensors, short/long term fuel trim, ECT, IAT, spark advance working.
Anyone got any non clip obd software working to show knock sensor and MAF? Or does anyone know the PID numbers for them?
Thanks
Ok got a miss fire on cylinder 2 according to the diagnostics.
Swapped plug 2 (closest gearbox) with cylinder 4 (next to it). Well I think that's the order :)
Still no joy.
Just replaced the coil pack. Still the same.
So began to unplug the injectors. Each one makes the engine drop and when...
It's a 182 with cup suspension.
Got the old rod off no problem. New ones on however how the frack do you get the boot over the rack so you can put the cable tie on?
Oh and £42 for a track rod end and you don't even get the nut. Had to cut the old one off :(
Help appreciated :)
Update.
Finally got round to buying a new clamp and middle exhaust mount. £13 from the dealers. Also bought some exhaust paste.
Exhaust now sits perfect. Drives a lot better too :)
Interesting the old clamp had 1 nut, new had two.
Sealey tool was too big so bought a 14 deep 3/8 socket and borrowed a wrench. Worked a treat connecting the leads to get them out.
Not fixed the miss firing so onto the coil pack.
Managed to have a look. Centre mount is hanging on by a thread :( I also brodged the rear hangers.
It did seem to have a little movement in the centre section so thinking that clamp kit might need replacing.
