been daily driving it any day that its dry now that I work close to home, get to use the ramps too after work which is a bonus!
because the original 182 was such a shed i just transfered everything over without spending any money on belts etc incase the engine was poor, turns out its mega...
i put a new genuine clutch and genuine clutch cable in one of mine, few months later it was back to being heavier and creaky lol - my van proper creaks when its warm
my understanding is the track is the same on ALL, cup got its wider track from the wheel offset, 182 has stronger front hubs (anyone ever cracked a 172 one? 😂 )
see changing career thread haha
the mrs has warned me not to make a habit of this, every time a customer now mentions something not been worth repairing my ears perk up

looks proper tidy underneath, I don't know a lot about...

As above generally a 4-1 for top end power and 4-2-1 for mid range. I swapped my 172 to a 182 manifold and also fitted a decat link pipe so not totally like for like comparison, but I gained mid range torque which felt much nicer on the road but also gained peak power and peak torque and it...
It took me about a month to gel with it then it just seemed to all fall into place and I found it just as focused as any Clio before it when you were on it and as civilised as a golf around town
