iv had burnley powerflow fit the zorst to my valver...bout 7 years ago...until the guy who bought it off me wrapped it up 2 years ago, was still all good on the zorst front. was also one of the quickest valvers around at the time, on these very forums...albeit RSC then.
the one on the...
dont see anyone else laughing ;)
im surprised none of the tuning comapanies have visited him tbh , and taken a copy of his map and deemed it as their own.......or have they?? ;)
to be fair.jesus has had a poerflow exhaust fitted, albeit 2nd hand.
but i still stand by my statement, better off wi piper than gdi.cheaper, same design almost, made by same company, but then id still go with powerflow than piper, burnley outlt is s**t hot.
hmmmm so why do chip wizards live mapped cars seem to get better figures, and are actually faster on the road, than none live mapped cars from other tuners??
set o cams n a remap...u shud piss it.
an easy enough job to do the cams, the amount most places charge for fitting is extortionate. do it yourself mate, save a lot of coin, and get more satisfaction out of it, spesh wen its quicker than most tuning co.s are producing at the time ;)
remap.basically all cars have a map on their ecu, all the same map, i.e, all 197 clios will leave the factory with the exact same fuelling map, these are factory set to give the best mpg, emissions without losing too much power.
now a re-map, is in my opinion, where someone who knows what...

more economical than i thought lol.....dont really take any notice of how much the juice is tbh
£300 for a cambelt???
deffo worth having cams thrown in tho. you should see a decent amount of gain over std with just the bodies....but if its worth doing , its worth doing right. fortunately i dont really need my car as i have use of others, but its an ongoing project that will be kept...
lol. would be more like coffee tins full o juice.u know the 5 kg fukkers lol.
will have to wait and see mate... once things are sorted out tho, im pretty confident that it will keep pace with yours no probs. but then...a £0 back street build vs £how many thousands now??? alledged...
well.id only trust myself tbh. most tuning companies dont seem to get the best out of things imo.
mapping side of things.again theres only 1 man to do this...approved mapper or not, doesnt really matter, its whether someone knows what they are actually doing rather than paying a company a...
i have the ds perfomance ones fitted.....i think lol.
they are all red, backing plate and side of pad material, find them fantastic tbh.
great from cold, exceptional when hot. quite a few ppl commented on the braking ability of the car lap after lap at oulton last time out.
altho...
dunno yet tbh....not had it mapped yet.
should be around the 220 ish mark when done tho hopefully, prob about 190-200 at the mo tho.
quite a few bits to do before its sent off for mapping thjo.
went from mine to northys in it last weekend, is about 30 miles ish each way.....used £25...
