Welcome, you are correct that the parts for a MK2 will fit. They just list it up to 2005 as if it was listed to 2009, people with 2006 mk3s would buy them as production ran along side each other for 4yrs
cheap water pump possibly just on its way out or wrong/dirty coolant?
sludgy coolant that wasnt flushed out properly would cause premature wear on a new pump.
yes is your car an early one with ESP but no cruise?, been a few years but from memory you will need
the panel you have removed with cruise control button
steering wheel with cruise buttons and i think you will need the squib if your not already pre wired there too, also an airbag with the cut...
love a pearl black 172! its one of the odd cars though that for some reason suit the standard wheels more than the Turinis! imo of course!
nice to see it when you finally get a set of xenons for it, last time i was trying to get a set i found it easier to just buy a clio initiale and swap the...
Sorry other end of the country from me! Full cards turn up for £500 ish so it's worth keeping your eyes open however some of them are tidy enough it would be better just to use it than re shell it to yours
Yes either a donor car or last time I done one I just done a deal with the breakers where I gave them £300 for the car and stripped it bare over 8hrs and left them the shell
You will need:
Engine
Gearbox
Engine wiring loom
Matching ECU, uch and transponder from the key from the doner car.
You will be able to keep your current interior wiring loom and it will just plug into your new engine loom under the passengers scuttle panel.
You can run your standard brakes as...
last one i done i just put the shell free to a good home on facebook and a gypo in a transit recovery motor came and dragged it on with a winch. i had lifted it with the engine crane, took the axel stands out and dropped it on a couple of planks of wood to protect the drive when it was getting...
understanding boss if your looking at fitting bodies to his car lol.

not a lot of receivers have DAB these days as it never really took off with A/V gear, My Denon AV receiver doesn't have it but it does have Bluetooth and wifi so you can just stream anything you want to it (internet radio etc) from your phone or directly on the receiver controlled via the smart...
i thought they all would its a pretty basic requirement and this is their budget range stuff. It needs configured in the NVR rather than via the web/app based config
mine continuously records but I can skip to motion detection points on the recording
red marks on the timeline down the bottom are motion detection, you can set it to only detect motion in certain areas etc but I have it set to full scene
If it's just pump failures, stick a brand new pump on it, no one had issues with pumps as far as I can remember on here until the cars were about 15yrs old! Now everyone is throwing pumps.
Touching on the EPAS, it does have its issues, I drove one that felt horrible and inconsistent, mine is...
my 220 trophy had 3x batteries in the time I owned it... (i sold it at 12 months old!) it used to do some crazy crazy things in the 2 weeks leading up to it finally breaking down.
Looking good! the steering wheel stripes always f**k with my OCD too, the Twingo was the same! on LHD cars the stripes on the bonnet and roof match the ones on the top of the steering wheel but on RHD cars it looks odd! once you have seen it you cannot un-see it!
Battery is on its way out or earth strip, will be one of those 2.
Take a jump lead from the negative battery terminal to a good solid metal bit of the body shell and try and start it, if it starts fine then it's an earth strap somewhere that's corroded or broken.
If not then it's the battery...
Local scrappy got a white dci in for breaking, went and had a look as my front bumper had a load of scuffs on it!
Mine looks like this...
One on the scrap car was dirty but good condition, £30 later...
Swapped over the rubbing strip's, gave it all a clean. Not swapped the fogs as one of mine...
