Bolts for mounting jon foz subframes

I used 50mm. With cap heads though they're not fully threaded after about 25mm so worth noting.

    Disconnect door wiring loom.

Leave the two bolts, it's the clip at the bottom that slides out, usually get a flat head screwdriver in to start it off.

    Scrubbing in ad08r?

Never had a problem when i used AD08R's, even in the snow.

    Scrubbing in ad08r?

You won't scrub them in, in this weather unless it's fully dry. Are they the newer AD08RS?

2020 750mc Ktec Clio Championship starts here.

I've been a few times, it's a nice circuit (views wise) but not that challenging. It's pretty wide, so you can take a few liberties with your driving style and not crash haha.

Home cctv and phone apps? recommendations please!

Do you mean the actual hard drive or the NVR? You could use any NVR really and the hard drive i'd recommend a Western Digital Purple.

No Oulton :sneaky: Hardly any of the 750mc events seem to be going there next year, makes more sense than Anglesey tbh.

windscreen / headlamp washer pump help

There are two pumps in the washer bottle, each has two outlets on. One pump does the front and rear windscreen and the other does the left and right headlight washers. So you only need one pump.

    Brainfart time........

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Which bit is moving as you are tightening?

Starting an engine for first time after a re-build?

One long crank mate. Not too long that it gets your starter red hot though lol
  21. Mr Trailer Man

Starting an engine for first time after a re-build?

Yeah, i'd do it for about 30 seconds if you've got a decent enough battery or jump box.
  22. Mr Trailer Man

Starting an engine for first time after a re-build?

Do it with the spark plugs removed too, it'll make it easier for the engine to turn over.

Starting an engine for first time after a re-build?

No fuel or spark and just crank it for a good few times. Assembly lube or a bit of oil over the cams/rockers before the cover goes on.

Rear 10mm Pms axle spacers with ET35 would it rub on the arch?

Your 2118's will be ET43 i'd imagine, if they're the anthracite ones. Only came in ET43 and ET38. I think my mate runs 10mm spacers on the rear with ET35 Pro Race 1.2's, no issues for him.

    182 soft brake pedal.

Yeah it's quite easy to get it to kick in on the road in the wet. Dip the clutch or shift to neutral while braking heaving, it stops you getting engine braking then which would normally reduce the chance of locking up and allows it to stop the driveshafts easier... in my experience anyway.
  26. Mr Trailer Man

    182 soft brake pedal.

Technically yeah, as the fluid absorbs water if it's ever got hot it'll create air bubbles. Plus it's 15 years old, air will get in somewhere eventually 😂
