anybody ever think of welding a nut to the top of the upright so you can 'lock' camber while tightening the shock bolts up?

Geo seems a bit hit&miss with the setting 'creeping' as you tighten.

Is this the sort of thing that eccentric top mounts cures?

Either the upright or the shock.
While doing alignment you can see the values change
