Essential equipment when owning a Clio 172.
The pad should look like its just resting on the disc, you should easily be able to turn the disc round with very little friction.
Yeah its faily simple, you need to split your current light setup to the following:
Existing Left Main beam Green - to H7 bulb inner
Existing Left Dipped beam Beige - to HB3 bulb outer
Existing Left earth Black - to both bulbs
Existing Right main beam yellow - to H7 bulb inner
Existing Right...
What really makes my blood boil is the t***s that throw stuff at fire engines, ambulances and buses. Also throwing stuff off motorway bridges, If I ever catched anyone doing anything like that I think I'd go mental.
If your current ones have never been off they will be a pain at first, slide the front door strips towards the rear of the car and try and get your finger behind the rear edge to lift out. Slide the rear strips towards the front of the car, they will clip off. Then its just a straight forward...
Did you check if it is securly bolted to the bracket, as the bracket doubles up as the earting point and if its loose/rusted it wont work. If your horn is faulty you can get cheap replacements from Halfords that bolt on.
No idea about 5.1 but its a common problem for the cylinders to go, They are straigt forward to do as edde says change the shoes and give the insides of the drum a clean.
Looks a lot better as said above, it looks like you have part of your wheel arch missing on the drivers side, you need that as part of it covers the aux belt and rollers from debris, pm me if you want, as I have one for sale.
Yes they will fit, even if yours is a 5 door. Unfotunatly the interior is not the same as the full fat 172s. Its very basic and the rears do not have head rests. The front are the same seats but they are not leather/alcantara.
Its a pain to setup, I found it doesnt work with xp. I have it on an old compaq laptop that has windows ME, you have to have certain versions of java and quicktime which are included on the cds for it to work.
You mean between the top of the turret and the very top mount you can see in the engine bay? There has to be some clearence to allow them to rotate when you steer.
