Door cards wont fit as the dash is a different shape, unless you bodge them. The seats will go on your subframes ok. Also the wiring for the seats is going to be different.

Lower the car on the ground, get the ring spanner on the nut and the allen key in the hole but get a long metal tube (I use a copper pipe) to extend the allen key so you can wrench it more and pull it until it a: breaks or b: the nut loosens. WD40 helps as the top of the threads always rust.
Probably as its a 172, on my brothers 1.2 you can pop the rubber covers off and have a play but in the 172 I know there is no room. They are motorised and are self leveling, they have a servo that has a motorised arm which pushes them up or down. The white clip from the servo to the lights...
Yeah as above, it sounds like the plastic bit has fell off/came loose, If you pull the servo out the back of the lights it should be attached to a white plastic arm, you need to push it back in so the arm pushes the lights up. Its quite fiddly to do btw.
