Cant tell from that pic, have you had any knocking at all from the back, more so on bumpy corners?
By the looks of them it looks like you have already had a new bolt in there.
According to the Renault manual you'll need:
ESSENTIAL SPECIAL TOOLS
Mot. 799-01 Tool for immobilising pinions for
toothed timing belt
Mot. 1054 Top dead centre pin
Mot. 1368 Tool for tightening the timing pulley
Mot. 1453 Engine support tool
Mot. 1487 Tool for fitting the inlet camshaft...
They only have one on the drivers side behind the foglights, it just there to absorb some of the fuel vapours for better emissions. When the valve is faulty it knocks as mentioned above and it can also cause lumpy idle and random stalling.
Can anyone get the codes for the cabasse tuner list head units (the ones from the 182s). Just brought one on the cheap and it doesnt have a code with it.
Both boots should have metal clips on at both ends. For now pack some grease in them and put some strong plastic cable ties on to stop it coming out, eventually you will need new driveshafts if you dont stop it. In the long run its best to replace the boots/clips as the plastic ties will not...
Ive got some that say 306gti and citroen bx on the box, they fit in the caliper/right shape but there is too much tread on each pad so they are too thick. Just need to stick one on the grinder, I thought I read on here somewhere the proper clios ones have a thicker one and a thinner one.
You dont want that oil filter its just a element you slot in a plastic cover. Try renault they are not too taxing, about £7-8, I could give you the part numbers if you give me the codes off the vin plate.
You will need 3.7 litres, 5w40w is ideal, elf, shell helix or silkolene fully synthetic. The fuel filters & aux belt (might aswell do the cambelt aswell) are good until 72k miles, check the spark plugs they should be done at 72 but inspect them anyway.
