Could work, but as soon as you need to use a socket on the bolt it'll chip away the clear coat whereas acf would probably remain untouched with it being a surface coating that bonds.
I used ACF-50 on the self coloured socket cap bolts on my bucket seat sidemounts, they had started to get surface rust after only a week into being fitted!
Just wiped a bit over the head and they still look like new.
New bush with circlip here if needed.

There's no hole above the bush, it's just a recess that it sits in.
No chance it is leaking from there, probably just left over oil that's escaped from inside the bush after the clean.
Wouldn't normally have a temp sensor in the sump, not that accurate as it won't be seeing the true operating temp.
Best to have a sensor on a sandwich plate off the oil filter.
Can't help but think that all this effort to go to with this build and then they're just sticking a Celica engine in seems a bit mad to me ?
Granted not many engines will fit in a Mini, but....
