    182 Alarm LED on solid

Not entirely sure, but i'd imagine it goes to the uch and fusebox and then to the alarm siren under the wiper scuttle panel.

    Mysterious Clicking UCH

For a while now I get the odd clicking sound from the UCH/relays, a bit like if you were to activate the wipers for one cycle. I doesn't do it all the time either. I did think it was linked to my rear wiper which started having a mind of its own when i turned the ignition on, so i pulled the...

    Discs and pads

Wouldn’t use them just for a road car tbh, pretty dusty. I’d just get oem stuff from George, fine for the road.

    Which Order?

Yeah that's right. I usually give it a quick snow foam again after the tar remover, don't want that sitting on panels and gaps.

Manual Tyre changer- bead breaker for DIY use?

One of the lads at Demon Tweeks struggled to get my Dunlop track tyres off with an all singing all dancing new machine. Wouldn't like to try it with a manual jobbie.

Manual Tyre changer- bead breaker for DIY use?

It will need balancing, believe it or not tyres aren't perfectly round. Neither do they weigh the same all the way round either. That's why you see the yellow and red dots marked on tyre sidewalls. Yellow dot is the lightest part of the tyre, red dot is the highest spot of radial run out (how...

This. You won't be charged but they should speak to Agency to get some sort of compensation, maybe in the form of a free rebuild or something next time.

    Wheel width

Just had a look at the Trofeo R and 205/45/17 rim spec is 6.5j min, 7j optimal and 7,5j max. I'm guessing you're on a 17" wheel?

    Wheel width

What tyre is it? Race tyre manufacturers usually list an optimal rim width.

    Wheel width

There won't be that much in it i'd imagine though, i mean, how thick is the lip of a rim on most wheels... Might be best to double check with them.

    Wheel width

Same as the diameter is measured to the bead seat floor not the outer rim edge.

    Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Depends how time consumining you want it to be. Gyeon Rim is a ceramic coating, lasts 12+ months. Needs a bit of prep to make sure everything is clean and oil free. or Finishkare FK1000P hi temp sealant. Goes on like a wax, lasts upto 12 months, but probably best to reapply every 6.
