    Cheap track rod ends

Yeah, get the top part on with your hands and hold it there while you stretch the bottom bit over. I'd imagine it's easier on a ramp too.

    Cheap track rod ends

Yeah, that was a proper piss take. Especially the drivers side. Ended up using something to hook the boot over.

    Europe's quickest FWD car

Yeah it is road legal, just swap over to pump fuel and it's good to go. It usually runs in a class called street eliminator which all the cars are street legal, all taxes and MOT'd and they have to do a 26 mile cruise including stopping for fuel and hot starting. The original guy that built it...

    Europe's quickest FWD car

Yeah, that's Martin Smith's 3000bhp Bentley. It's a twin turbo LS engine I think, but they're having trouble launching it properly. Once it gets going it's a 7 second car at over 200mph. And it's still street legal lol.

    Europe's quickest FWD car

Was at Santa Pod for the Doorslammers event over the weekend and this car was one of many that caught my eye. Mega quick. Still a B18 engine but with a big turbo and about 45psi of boost on E85. Around 1400bhp!

How often do you change your gearbox oil?

Easy, drain plug underneath. Plastic wing nut on the front of the box to fill up from. Pour oil in until it runs back out of the fill hole. Can either use a funnel and tube from the top or one of them hand pump things from underneath.

    Heatshield rattle

I removed the one on my 182 and it's been fine on track days and long drives, no heat problems. Boot floor gets slightly warm to the touch.

  25. Mr Trailer Man

    Any idea’s

Mine did it from the rocker cover bolts, but it was minimal loss really. I check the oil on mine once a month anyway, doesn't do many miles.

It's a solvent so it'll evaporate, but yeah wipe it down with some paper towel.

    Any idea’s

Looks to be some oil pooling up on top of the lower inlet though. Probably the rocker cover needing resealing, but again it's not major. Can get it done on the next belt change.

They all breath a bit of oil, if it's not much then i wouldn't worry about it.
