Saw a few Lambos the other night

    Daniels Blue 182.

Essentially yeah, but the air only goes into the cold side and then straight into the intercooler. For the power Dan's will be running, the intercooler shouldn't have a problem cooling the intake temps to the ideal temperature tbh.

Who has made a Clio Cup Race Car road legal?

Quick car, seen it a few times in time attack.

Who has made a Clio Cup Race Car road legal?

The one Nick from Pure was selling from his car was about £3k iirc

Who has made a Clio Cup Race Car road legal?

    About £3k used i think.

    Daniels Blue 182.

Heatsoak isn't a major problem on boosted cars really, that's what the intercooler is for.

    Wet sparkplugs

Yeah or brush it on. It's rough cast anyway so you won't see the brush marks.

    I Bought a 172 Cup...

Looks good. When you say it's got a short shift, do you mean short or stiff shift? I'd get rid of the short shift if it is, you don't want to rush these gearboxes.

Paint it in place as it is. The oil leak isn't a major thing really. My 182 has been doing it for about 2 years, i'm just waiting until the next cambelt change.
  11. Mr Trailer Man

    Wet sparkplugs

No, you can leave the engine in. It's basically like doing a cambelt change but with the extra step of taking the cover off and sealing it.
  12. Mr Trailer Man

    Wet sparkplugs

You can't just remove the cover i'm affraid. You'd need to lock off the cams and remove the belt and pulleys.

    RS - Feel the Need

You can just imagine the used car sale ads for these now. Clios it's 'full service history, cambelt done at 72,000 miles' Mk3 RS 'full service history, engine replaced at 3000 miles' 😂

    Cliché track car title.

    He was mate yeah

    Wet sparkplugs

The oil will work it's way down the threads eventually and even more so as you unscrew the plug.

Yeah it's better than the first PCars.

    Loads mate haha

    Project CARS 2

Thrustmaster T300RS mate. Bit different to the G29. Mine is belt driven and yours is gear driven. When you set it up you'll have to play around the with force feedback and don't have it too high as it'll start 'clipping', which basically means it's running at 100% or more and overloading it.
  21. Mr Trailer Man

    Project CARS 2

You'll like it with a wheel mate. Feels more realistic as it goes from a game to a sim.
  22. Mr Trailer Man

    Rear disc spacer

Yeah mate. Have a look on Renault Parts Direct, they've had a machine shop make some instead and they're like £25!
  23. Mr Trailer Man

    Rear disc spacer

They're also no longer available from Renault. Only ones left are from left over stock.

    cambelt problems (local garages)

And if done very badly it won't run at all... or not for long anyway 😂

    Ali's Megane R26 progress

630cc injectors, intercooler, decat and map to suit is "stage 2". (Not really stages, just a map to suit the mods).

Cold weather track tyre pressures and suspension set-up

Try Old Hall in 4th for me as well. I've thought about trying it. Can brake later and not have to worry about changing down to 3rd and then back on the power.
  27. Mr Trailer Man

Cold weather track tyre pressures and suspension set-up

I know yeah. I can never decide which gear to use. It's a bit quick for 2nd and 3rd can be a bit slow. Although it may just feel slow, could smoother/quicker.
  28. Mr Trailer Man

Cold weather track tyre pressures and suspension set-up

Yeah 27/28 and 30 should be ok. Chuck it into Shell hairpin too and use that to warm up, it'll stick with all the extra camber of the corner.
  29. Mr Trailer Man

Cold weather track tyre pressures and suspension set-up

I don't think the traffic helped either mate, was busy on track to try and get a good few laps in to warm up. Same problems for my mates in the Meganes on slicks.
  30. Mr Trailer Man

Cold weather track tyre pressures and suspension set-up

Higher pressure to start with. More pressure = more resistance in the tread = more friction/heat.
