They're actually 16" so not what I really wanted, but I may be able to get them for a steal. Definitely 4x100, but will get more detail later.
I'm impatient though, so does anyone know what they are? Thanks .
Great tip @bearne1, thanks! Cringed a bit when I had to spend £6.50 on a syringe 😅, nearly opted for the £4.50 turkey baster option, but thought better of it .
So power steering fluid changed today, and cabin filter too - old one was a bit mucky .
To save @Dr Jekyll a post , pop out screw cover at base to expose hex/screw, undo, slide door pull out, swap over the knobs and switches, pop back in and screw back down. I found the hex/screw cover was loose afterwards so stuck it in with a bit of double sided tape. 5 mins work .
There's loads of non-sport ones on eBay for a few dollars. And because they are plain old miserable plastic they clean up nicely, and actually match the rest of the tatty plastic on the doors - like the plastic around the door pull lever things (at least on my 172).
On my 172 the original nuts were 10mm. When I replaced a broken one, the replacement from Renault was 13mm.
Any chance you have actually undone the stud from the block and that's why it seems to be spinning?
I don't think it'll be the springs though, that would't cause the top of the mounts to sit so high. I reckon something is missing or fitted incorrectly, or even the wrong mounts or dampers?
