    Sprint Blue B7 RS4 Pre-Sale Detail...

As has been said, god awful diffuser, too low and is that an ABT spoiler?! But stunning car and colour combo. Great results, Kev!

I was wrong about this. It's ph2.2!!! So highly acidic. God knows why they released another one!

    Cub's Caged Flamer. Detailed.

What was the process on the lights, Ant? W&D and polished back up? Mine need doing, desperately, so it's not just Renault items that haze over time!

Out of interest, because I can't be bothered to search, what is C2V3 based on, on your car? Amigo?

Buying a bottle for a brief top up detail due at the end of this month, Kev. Hope it's as good as you say, although if it's even marginally better than V1 I'll be happy for 6 months.

Black Gold is a pita, but I love it!

Keep the biscuits - your hand in marriage for a hand on the 182?

    Bird crap

Not necessarily. If the car is well protected a low pressure hose off will work. Or a product like auto finesse citrus power will break it down, leaving it easy to rinse off. Wipi g is a no no. Birds eat grit to aid digestion. This poop it out leaving it on your paint.

Back up to £6 - occasionally have deals like 342.

    Polishing by hand

To be honest, Alex, I'd whole heartedly agree with that last sentence (if you don't have a machine, or just don't have time).

Slick wax for a sliver car.

Durable, yes. But 476s will mute the flake pop on metallic cars and generally make silver cars look dull. If you want something as durable, but with better looks, try 915 Insulator wax.

    Auto Glym HD Wax

SN is pretty average in the grand scheme of things. And for £50-65, it's way overpriced. Nattys Blue Paste at £15 looks better an lasts longer with correct prep and app. If the budget is £50 go for Carbon. If lower, Bouncers.

    Polishing by hand

This isn't the halfords shopping section, chap. The products you've listed (save for LP) are terrible. For £22 you can buy P1 and a hand cut pad. Probably a few MFs as well. So OP, I suggest taking that advice...!

    Headlight Correction, without the drill

500 is far too coarse. But people use it as they see results more quickly. 3000 and 4000 should be used to remove the marks imparted by 2000 grit. People expect immediate results, hence the "botch job" 3M kit sells so well.

RDS was £2.25 in ASDA (1/4 the price of CP), so got a load cheap in Halfords as well in their price match. Wax safe, not quite as effective as CP however from testing by... yellow someone, Belly or Dave. And yes, I know you're a cunitdot. ;)

    Headlight Correction, without the drill

I do love some of these replies. 3000 if desired... 500 grade up... Utterly hilarious. If a job's worth doing...

    PM'd chap.

Very cheap, very good Wheel cleaner!

That's the same price as Tescos, folks. So if you can't find it near you, it's £3 cheaper than Halfords (since I can't get any more :( ). This isn't an arsey post. This is a post stating you're making it easier for CS users (I know how written word comes across ;) ).

    Cheap Quick Detailer

For a nothing added/nothing gained QD, I still like Megs Last Touch. Bulk buy, ratios are good, smells nice, lasts ages. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-sprays/meguiars-last-touch/prod_225.html For something that tops up and adds to the finish, Z6/8 are/were my go to products.
