    Cheap Microfibres at Asda

The very same. IIRC they don't pass the CD test, but for gen purp they're good value. Aye, again, don't pass the CD test but worth the cost for some cheap dirty work ones. YB; my Halfords trick still works with the Demon Shine Rapid Dirt Shifter...! £2.25 heeyoooooo.

No worries buddy. To follow on from the above - test below is straight out of the bottle; The reaction that then takes place creates a substance that is not pH neutral, but it's contained in the liquid and therefore is perfectly safe. There is a massive post by someone on DW who has even...

Very cheap, very good Wheel cleaner!

Yeah that's what Tesco have been told to say. I highly doubt it is being discontinued. It's just they wanted to get rid of stock. Think how many bottles they've sold at £1.73 - got people hooked because it is an OK product that Joe Public can see working, now it's £6.99 (cheaper than Halfords...

Mikes86 agreed, good advice. 1:1 with water in a better pump spray is where it's at. Andy, glad it arrived chap! Lemonnobby - £4 if you can find it, IIRC.

When I'm not on the phone I'll find the DW thread that explains it for you.

Very cheap, very good Wheel cleaner!

The reaction is the same as iron-x. So yes it is no longer ph neutral when it reacts but the reaction is contained so it doesn't affect paint or lacquer.

So I'm struggling with the second batch unfortunately gang. Halfords that I ordered from put a stop to it second time around citing out of date receipt and I wouldn't be allowed the 342 offer. However, hoping to have sorted it at another branch. I'll update you when I know more.

Bring exhaust tailpipes back to life

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitting_corrosion Prevention is the only way. Once the damage is done, it's irrepairable.

Bring exhaust tailpipes back to life

It sounds like the exhaust has pitting in the metal finish. I'm fairly certain these are not repairable.

That's what I'm saying. Put that "extra" 800 into a house. Also, how the hell have you worked out 3 years in advance?!? I've no idea 6 months in advance!

Approx Cost of this damage ?

Two coats of SRP? Do you realise SRP is a polish (the clue being in the title)?

Can I suggest you put that into a house, not a car? It looks great but FFS stop talking about the bad points and enjoy the fecking thing.

From my experience with C2V1, C2V3 would get my vote every hour of every day.

I think he was joking about duping AF into giving us a large discount as "other traders do the same wink wink, nudge nudge".

    Auto Finesse Discounts ?

There have been a few discounts (quite a hefty one when they first started to sponsor the forum) and they run free prize competitions each week for a fair chunk of products... anything more would be great, but certainly not expected.
