    Interior And Convertible Roofs.

It's not needed, but it makes it a hell of a lot easier and is more time efficient. It basically means the seats won't be as wet.

    Trophy detail

Get those arches cleaned you cheap skate! ;) Very nice, but as said, shame about the photography skillz, it is a difficult colour to capture.

    Interior And Convertible Roofs.

For the dash and interior plastics, I dust down with a soft brush, then a diluted APC on a MF will soon see a decent clean. Protection wise, you have a fair bit of choice. Have a look on the I4D/PB websites and choose your poison.

    Interior And Convertible Roofs.

Starting from the beginning; Wet and dry vacs are used to extract dirty water and soap from seats and upholstery. The idea being you can "scrub" them with a cleaner and then "rinse" them, without getting the seats soaking wet. AS Biobrisk is a good start and to protect, look at i1 from...

    I R Detailer

Cheers gents. This should last Kev, I pressure wash them and agigate every wash fella, so should keep them up to scratch. They were well prepped as well, with IPA etc, so should see a good bond. Big time, they appear to be the worst possible positioning. Worst I've come across on any car/wheel...

    I R Detailer

Hi. So had a day off from work yesterday as I have a few to use up before I leave at the end of this month - whoop! So anyway, I decided almost nine years of crud, tar and salt was enough for my poor arches, so decided to give them a decent going over. Sadly, the day did not quite go to plan...

Quick enhancement detail - Tornado Red Golf GTI

Great work as always fella, but totally disagree opinions wise on the wheels! Interesting! Ed30? Meg finally pissed you off enough?

    Which Wash Mitt?

If you look after them, wash mitts last. Hated the Yeti, hated the wookie. Too large and cumbersome. And the drain a standard sized bucket. Eurow last well and are soft enough. The Easiriders are alsoeant to be very good.

    Very tough paint :(

Depends on the painter. If they've used VAG paint, it'll be hard. If they used cheap paint like Renault stuff, it'll be soft. What do you mean by the last bit?

    Leather treatment

When you say it's not proper leather...? If it is leather, the Gliptone twins are fantastic.

    Wheel treatment

Going at it this month, eh Neil :) Wash down, clay, wash, dry, polish, seal. So the same as paint work really. Fk1000p is great on wheels. Poorboys Wheel Sealant is also perfect.

    Seatbelt cleaning?

An APC with a soft brush works well. Test an area for colourfast...ness first.

    Distressed trim... Needs re-colouring???

Difficult one as you've actually changed the makeup of the item by the sounds of it, Neil. What actually is it?

    New Evo Project

I know what it is and what it is capable of. But I still think it's chavvy. As you've said, personal preferences! And I don't feel NSX or Skylines are chavvy ;) Now sell it and buy back the M5!

    New Evo Project

Pretty poor post. People are entitled to their own opinions. I'm sure some people see a wide arched, big winged, black wheeled, loud car like this as very chavvy...? Personally not to my tastes, but as with all projects that take time, money and effort it's got my respect. It's great to read...

    auto glym tyre dressing

You have in a way answered the point - Halfrauds is aimed at the mass market and therefore stocks mass market "it'll do" products. There are a number of products like dash wipes that will work. If you want the best, you need to look into I4Detailing or Polished Bliss. Links...

    auto glym tyre dressing

Then you haven't tried the correct ones. AG Tyre Dressing is the same substance as the Vinyl and Rubber care. They are both water based and therefore last as long as most water based dressings...i.e. until it rains. They also attract a lot of dust and dirt and are generally pretty average...
